Daniel Creegan’s 1997 GMC K3500 pickup received a full custom transformation that turned his daily driver into a show-winning masterpiece. The process began with HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover and HR398 Final Wipe, ensuring the surface was perfectly clean and contaminant-free.
For a strong foundation, Daniel applied HP661 Grey DTA Epoxy (Direct to Anything) Kit followed by HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, creating excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance. The centerpiece of the build came next, the vibrant Shamrock Green basecoat, mixed with HR Reducers and strengthened with the 76 Series Hardener.
To complete the look, Daniel finished the truck with HC4100 Glamour Clearcoat Kit, adding a deep, glossy shine and long-lasting protection. The result is a bold and unforgettable finish that not only earned “Best in Show” at the 2023 Family Time Hobbies Car Show in NY but also became part of a cherished wedding photo, proof of the bond between an enthusiast and his ride.
